Basic direction:
The Austrian Health Academy (aha.) is a health policy think tank. It was founded to contribute to a fair, effective and efficient health care system. It conducts research, provides evidence-based advice to political and other actors and also addresses the general public with its work. It fosters professional exchange at national and international level and develops solutions to urgent health policy issues. It is organized as an association and is financed by membership fees, sponsoring and commissioned work. Its highest principle is scientific independence.
